Planning & Land

Our work

Clear statements. Numbered, reasoned, readable.

Every case we take is written up in our own house style: a contents page, plain headings and numbered paragraphs an officer or Inspector can cite. Below are some of the drawings that support them, and how a page reads.

How a page reads

Short numbered paragraphs, one point each, so the case officer can quote us accurately in the report.

3.0 THE PLANNING BALANCE

3.1The site lies within the settlement boundary, where the principle of new housing is accepted.

3.2The council cannot show a five-year housing land supply, so the tilted balance applies.

3.3No harm has been identified that would significantly and demonstrably outweigh the benefits.
